What an amazing pianist, and her master class is fantastic. There is a topic, and in the left hand there is a wonderful hum. Everything for her is subordinated to a really definite image! I absolutely love it! I have not heard anyone who performed so subtly!!!

So You shouldn't play it just because Beethoven wrote it. Well, why not play an A instead of a G, if You think it sounds better? So it bothers her. Well, it doesn't bother me. By the way, Glenn Gould plays even more staccato here. So he is a bad musician that bothers her even more. Well, it's a valid point of view. But to me it's bad teaching. Just for the record, she is one of my favourite musicians.
